Format: 5 Rounds Swiss G/45; d5.
Sections: Open (1800 & Up), U1800, U1400 & U1000.
Playing up allowed if within 100 rating points. $20 to play up.
Prizes: Arizona Open Cup for the top 3 in each section.
Entry Fee:

- $75 by 8/8
- $80 by 8/15
- $85 by 8/22

- $95 Same Day

- Round 1 – 9:00 AM
- Round 2 – 10:50 AM
- Round 3 – 1:00 PM

- Awards Ceremony – 7:00 PM
USCF Membership is required.
K-12 MORNING CHAMPIONSHIP
Format: 4 Rounds Swiss G/25; d5.
Sections:
- K-3 U500
- K-3 Over 500
- K-12 U1000
- K-12 Over 1000
Prizes: Trophy for every Kindergarten player. Big Trophy for the Top 5 in each section. 6th and 7th Place awards in K-3 U500 and K-12 U1000. Top 5 Team Awards. Teams can be formed by clubs or friends. Top 4 players count toward the team score. Minimum of 2 players required per team.

- $70 by 8/8
- $75 by 8/15
- $80 by 8/22
- $85 by 8/28
- $90 Same Day

- Round 2 – 10:05 AM

PARENT AM TOURNAMENT
Format: 3 Rounds Swiss G/25; d5.
UNRATED EVENT. No USCF Membership required.
Parent and child results are combined to compete for the Top 3 Family Trophies.
Entry Fee: $25
Prizes: Top 3 Parents and Top 3 Parent/Child Combined Scores.

- Round 3 – 12:15 PM
K-12 AFTERNOON SECTIONAL
Format: 4 Rounds Swiss G/25; d5.

- Round 2 – 7:40 PM
- Round 3 – 7:50 PM
- Round 4 – 8:00 PM
- Round 5 – 8:10 PM
- Round 6 – 8:20 PM
- Ceremony follows ASAP
USCF Membership is required.
Refund Policy: No refunds. Full credit toward the next event if canceled by Saturday, August 29 at 8:00 AM in case of emergency.
