Time control: The time control is: G/3;+2; (Game in 3 minutes with a 2 second bonus per move). Registration: Please register early on the King Registration: kingregistration.com/event/RSMAYBlitz26 website. USCF membership is required. New or renewing USCF members are welcome. You can renew or sign up for the USCF membership on site. Your official 2026 May USCF Regular rating will be used for the Swiss pairings and for prize purposes. Schedule: Round 1 starts at 7:30 pm, Saturday, or at the conclusion of Round 4 of the Rising Star Memorial Day Classic tournament, whichever is later. Format: Six round Swiss (6SS) 3-day and 2-day schedules are available. Boards, sets, clocks, scoresheets and pens will be provided for all sections. 4 Sections: Premier (1800 and Up), U1800 (1500-1799), U1500 (1200-1499), U1200 (1199 and Under) The official May USCF ratings will be used to determine section eligibility and prizes. Higher unofficial ratings may be used, when applicable if someone has a higher LIVE rating. Playing up: Players’ ratings must be within 100 points or less to play up into the next section. The play up fee is $50 for the Premier section, or $25 for all the other sections.
