Format: 5-round Double Swiss System (Teams will play TWO games in one round: against the same opposing team with alternating colors.)

One Section: Open (open to players of all ratings)
Non-rated event.
Pairings are based on the average team ratings. Team ratings are calculated from the two players’ August 2025 regular US Chess rating.
Prizes: $200 Total Prize Fund (based on 20 entries):
1st: $100
2nd: $65
3rd: $35
Team Entry Fee (for two players): $40 early; $50 late; $60 on-site

Early online registration until midnight MST Tue, Aug 26.
Late online registration until midnight MST, Fri, Aug 29.
On-site registration is 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Sat, Aug 30.
No byes allowed.
Schedule: Round 1 starts at 7:30 pm or at the conclusion of Round 2 of the 11th Annual Phoenix Open tournament whichever is later. Subsequent rounds will be paired as soon as possible.
Refunds: Refunds may be requested until one hour before the start of Round 1. No refunds will be given after that time. All refunds will incur a 5% processing fee.
