All the players prefer G60. So, we are going to cancel the Unity Blitz tournament and change the time control for Unity Open to 60 mins.

Blitz Tournament - January 2025

This fast-paced event is perfect for chess enthusiasts looking for quick and thrilling matches.

Open to players of all skill levels, the tournament will feature five double rounds of intense competition, with each player having time control G/3;+2 to make their moves. USCF Rated. Current USCF Membership is required. All USCF Tournament Rules apply, and the tournament director’s decisions are final. Half Point Byes are available by request, with a maximum of 2 byes. Requests must be made before the end of Round 1.

Expect a fun and dynamic atmosphere, with opportunities to test your strategic skills and meet fellow chess aficionados. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to blitz chess, this tournament promises a day of high-energy games and memorable moments. Don’t miss out on the chance to showcase your talent and enjoy the camaraderie of the chess community!
