Ocotillo Rd.\nPhoenix\, AZ 85013 \n\nFormat\nUS Chess rated 5-round Swiss Tournament in 10 sections based on grade. \nTime Control\nG/40; d5 \nSections\nKG through 8th grade and High School (9th–12th). Players MUST\nregister in their current grade level and may not play up.\nSections may be combined if not enough players are registered. \nByes\nHalf-point byes are available in all rounds with a maximum of two.\nByes must be requested before the start of round 1.\nAll byes requested after the start of round 1 will be zero-point byes.\nByes cannot be cancelled once round \n\nSchedule\n\nRound 1: 9:00 AM\nRound 2: 11:00 AM\nRound 3: 12:45 PM\nRound 4: 2:30 PM\nRound 5: 4:15 PM\n\nAwards will follow after the last round is completed. \nEntry Fee\n\n$60 if received by January 17th\, 2026\n$65 if received by January 24th\, 2026\n$70 if received by January 31st\, 2026\n$75 if received by February 7th\, 2026\n$90 same day\n\n50% refund if cancelling by 1/24/2026.
